[ Sheβs never been around anyone who just floats around in the air like that, and it takes her a moment to get used to before she leads him into the kitchen, tugging a bottle of wine from its rack along with a corkscrew. ]
Sorry, fresh out of both of those. [ She offers a small smile, twisting the cork out with a pop and pouring the wine into two waiting glasses. She circles around to hand him his glasses, raising hers slightly. ]
[ Taking the glass when offered, Thanatos raised it ever so slightly and nodded his head before pressing it to his lips, inhaling slightly to get the aroma of the wine first then tipping it up and tasting the alcohol. It wasn't bad at all, tasted like something Dionysus would drink. ]
Is it alright for me to take a seat?
[ He asked, not knowing how he should act around her. Her, a mortal, so fragile and sweet- And Gods above, she was sweet wasn't she? ]
[ She tries hard not to stare, but itβs not everyday sheβs in the presence of an actual god. She takes a sip of her own wine, gesturing him towards the couch. ]
Please. [ She offers a small smile, perching on the couch next to him, not too close to crowd but still within arms length. ]
[ Still floating, his feet never once touching the floor, Thanatos lowers himself down until he's sat neatly on one side. Feet resting finally on the ground as a small shockwave of purple mist traveled out from the mild impact. ]
Do what? Sit down? No.
[ Dipping his head, taking another drink. He had to be sure not to drink it too fast or he'd feel impolite. Turning to face her, regarding her with those dull glowing yellow eyes of his. ]
You weren't talking about sitting, were you? Sorry, but yes, I really don't meet with the living like this much if at all.
You donβt sit down? [ She cocks a curious brow at him, lip twitching upwards as she watches him, gaze flickering to his feet and the purple mist that emanates from him. Huh.
She takes a sip of her own drink in turn, still studying him curiously. ]
I meantβ¦ coming to peopleβs houses and being flirted with, I guess. [ She chuckles. ] Who do you spend your time with then?

[ Oh, he's very aware of how intently she's studying him. He's used to it, just not in this sort of setting. ]
Such frivolities as this were never an option for me. My time was spent mostly alone, with my company to hold me. That or, my twin, Sleep.

So... you're open to trying out a little frivolity, then.
